Home Run Derby - 5/12 6:30PM at Highlands!

On May 12th at 6:30 PM at Highlands, Newton SouthEast will be hosting a local competition of the Little League Home Run Derby. This will be the second time that NSELL is running this competition - last year one of our NSELL players went to the National Finals at Williamsport where it was televised on ESPN!

This event is open to all little league aged 9-12 players participating in the Spring league. Each player will get 90 seconds to hit as many home runs as they can. The top players will advance through 3 rounds. The winner may be eligible to advance to a regional competition.

A home run for this contest will be 170' from home plate, roughly 40 feet shallower than the Highlands fence. The cost to participate is $10 and registration is open now.
