NSELL 2024 Annual Meeting

The Newton SouthEast Little League (NSELL) annual member meeting will be held at the Shuman Center on Tuesday, October 29th at 8PM. This meeting is open to all league parents as well as to all people interested in contributing to the league by volunteering.

NSELL aims to have a strong league that provides an educational and fun environment for all kids. Creating this environment depends upon participation, so we encourage all of you to attend the meeting.

At the meeting, we will review the past season, review our finances, discuss any other issues that are facing the league and, especially importantly, accept feedback and comments from NSELL families. Subsequently, the 2024 board will be elected.

Please consider volunteering in some capacity. What is involved in running the league? Most of the work is focused on organizing the league, including: tryouts, deciding how many teams should exist at each level, draft/player assignment, finances, scheduling, uniform procurement and distribution, obtaining sponsorship, coordinating each of the divisions of play, etc. In order for us to do these things well, it is extremely important for us to have people willing to participate in these efforts. If you are willing to consider providing feedback, to volunteer to assist in some aspect of these efforts, or to volunteer to serve on the board (meets monthly), please attend the annual meeting.
